Wisdom Key founder, Fasedemi dies in South Africa

One of Africa’s leading Integrated Marketing Communication experts and Nigeria’s export to the world, Andrew Fasedemi is dead.

Fasedemi, who founded, Wisdom Key Group (WKG) with operations in South Africa and East Africa passed on in South Africa, his place of sojourn and company’s headquarters.

Announcing  his long standing friend’s death  yesterday, renowned broadcaster and Africa Development Bank’s chief image maker, Victor Oladokun, wrote on Fasedemi’s Facebook page, “This evening, I received the sad news of the passing of my very dear childhood friend and brother Andrew Fasedemi”.

Fasedemi, a 1984 graduate of the University of Lagos began his marketing practice with Cadbury Nigeria as a management trainee where he rose to the position of senior brand manager.

He also worked with LeoBurnnet South Africa and became the Chief Executive, Fasedemi Newman LeoBurnnet, South Africa 1998 – 1990. He was the Chairman of the Advertising Association of South Africa between 1999 and 2001.

 An accomplished IMC expert in his lifetime, Fasedemi consulted for superbrands, governments and agencies across Africa. He was also a FIFA communication consultant on FIFA 2006 world Cup hosted by South Africa.
