When the going gets tough, most of us rather than endure, persevere and wait on the Lord, trusting in Him that we would attain success at the end of the day often prefer to take the shortcut.
But the shortcut in most cases leads to perdition. We often forget that we cannot hurry or stampede God. And this is because God is never in a hurry.
He does everything at the right and appropriate time. For instance, He created the whole earth in six days and rested on the seventh day. God is an organizer. He alone has and knows his time schedule. We can do nothing to hurry Him. We can do nothing without His approval.
The Israelites spent 40 years in the wilderness before getting to the promised land. It took the Japanese several years before attaining greatness in automobile and electronic technology. The Chinese toiled and laboured for decades before becoming a global player.
The late Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 solid years before emerging a global hero. Richard Branson, the owner of the Virgin Group struggled for decades before Virgin became a global brand. It took Aliko Dangote, over 30 years before he became the richest man in Africa. Mike Adenuga, the owner of Globacom was once a cab driver in America. Rasaq Akanni Okoya (Eleganza) was once a tailor. Pa Ade Ojo (Elizade) started as a struggling salesman. All these personalities paid their dues, enduring, persevering and waiting on God. They never took the short cut. So rather than taking the shortcut by going into crime and end up in jail or lose your life, why not wait on the Lord, who perfects everything at the right and appropriate time. So, why can’t we wait and persevere to build enduring brands. Brands, that set standard and soar. Welcome to the world of Soar Away Brands. Do have a good read of this edition like our previous editions. Enjoy and remain blessed.
